Starcraft 2: HD Singleplayer Gameplay
Starcraft 2 has been divided into three different games. The first game, subtitled “Wings of Liberty,” has its focus on the Terran faction.
StarCraft II, a sequel to the award-winning Starcraft game developed in 1998, is a sci-fi Real-Time Strategy game. The game is developed by world famous Blizzard Entertainment. They have not set a release date, but it is widely assumed to be released in early 2010.
This is our first real good look into the singleplayer component of Wings of Liberty, with nearly five minutes of gameplay footage from the Terran campaign.
Some of the highlights from the video include:
- A pair Terran battleships laying waste to a horde of zerglings
- A small Terran outpost completely surrounded by lava (that flows up and down through the battlefield)
- Some huge, badass Protoss units that are the guardians of some ancient relic
It’s definitely worth checking out the video!

Not gonna lie, this looks really good. I’m excited to sink my teeth into some good ole StarCraft 2 action!!
I wonder if that’s the new model for the collosus…
