When i click the unread posts link, it will tell me there were no new posts. However, some of the forum icons will be blue and when I click on that forum there is usually a thread will a "new" link next to it. I have noticed no pattern to these events. Yes, this is only a minor inconvenience, but I feel that I should still alert you.

Yes that happens to me, but It does say since last visit.  Those could be unread posts you missed from other visits.

Posts that have been edited/updated will show up as "new" even if you've already read them.
