Heyo this is AKAMrSmiley, my real name is William. I am 19 years old, was born and raised in Washington state but I've been living in Texas for 2 years. Been in Job Corps for the last 5 months, hence why I've been going missing for a couple months at a time.
Like a lot of other players my first MP FPS experience was Tribes, getting MAs at the age of 8. Quit playing after a year and a half to get serious with Starcraft and Diablo. Wasn't originally planning on playing Tribes 2, but a few months after its release my brother's arena team was sitting at #2 and I thought I'd come show him who was boss... Unfortunately I just ended up pubbing instead of playing on ladders. After awhile I quit playing, tried playing Q3A but it didn't last too long. After awhile away from the computer I tried playing UT 2003 and then ET... Neither interested me too much at the time (although I suck at ET, I have found new respect for the game and I love logging on to get my ass kicked). Came back to PC gaming at the beginning of 2008 to play ET:QW with my brother. In QW I played competitively with SF and PAK9 (for those, I was also apart of PDX and Axis Elites. While playing QW I tried playing Combat Arms, COD4 and QLive, all of which I lost interest in after around 50 hours of game time. After QW I've been pretty disappointed in FPS releases, so I've been mainly playing
free MMOs when I do get time on the internet. If you don't know me for any of that you may just know me as the guy without a headset that is always in other clans' vent servers trying to get everyone to go into the vent chat room to talk about Flyff and ROSE online (yes I love MMOs developed for kids).

Anyways, seeing a lot of familiar faces from the QW community that I haven't seen in awhile, so I already like this place and I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing this grow.
