I PM'd Matt about it the other day, and even linked him to a shoutbox mod for SMF. Hopefully when he gets the time, he'll put it up.

I have a lot of support both for and against a shout box. However, both are relative to the human psyche and community. So I say give it a whirl, put up a shout box, and if it turns out to be a good thing, keep it. If it is detrimental to what we are trying to portray and encourage here at FPSGC it can always be removed.
